Lines and Tubes Videos and Learning Product

Medical students and residents may need more practice and clarification when it comes to the placement of lines and tubes. This learning product utilized Articulate Rise to present interactive content to students. Articulate Animate was used to create short videos that animated the placement of lines and tubes. These videos were placed into Rise. Finally, at the end is a practice activity that was created within Articulate Storyline. Below are some sample videos as well as screen shots of the product.

Various media, including images and audio, accompanied the videos throughout the learning to improve effectiveness.

A summative activity asked students to state whether placement of a tube in an X-ray was correct or not. Students were then given feedback.
